Luke’s character is introduced in this scene, and it also shows that he is Batman and Batwoman’s new ally in their fight against Gotham’s criminals. It also sets the stage for Luke’s future appearances as Batwing in the movie.
Luke Fox, the son of Lucius Fox, puts on his armor and calls himself Batwing when he meets Batman and Batwoman.
The scenario takes place in the Batcave, where Batman and Batwoman are discussing their recent encounter with Heretic, a frightening new adversary. Luke, dressed in a high-tech outfit, enters the cave and introduces himself as Batwing.
Luke says that he has been working on the suit for a while and that he wants to help Batman and Batwoman fight crime in Gotham City. At first, Batman isn’t sure about Luke’s skills, but Batwoman backs him up and tells Batman to give him a chance.
Luke then shows what the suit can do, including how it can fly and use its advanced weapons. Batman likes Luke’s skills and the suit, so he invites him to join the team.
